Along with the introduction of new paint colors, Mansory’s customization for the Mercedes-Benz S 580 also includes a body kit featuring a carbon fiber front spoiler, air intake, and rear wing.
A few days ago, car enthusiasts were captivated by Mansory’s unveiling of the P9LM EVO 900, an incredibly impressive car based on the Porsche 911 Turbo S. Not content to stop there, the Germany-based tuning company continues to make waves with a new customization based on the Mercedes-Benz S 580.
If the P9LM EVO 900 is considered a “wild creation” aimed at enhancing the car’s performance and versatility, this Mercedes-Benz S 580 customization is a more simplistic upgrade. In fact, it’s so understated that without the Mansory badge, one could easily mistake it for a new model introduced by AMG.
The standout feature of this customization is the attention-grabbing Kalahari Gold exterior color provided by Mercedes-Benz’s Manufaktur department. The front end of the car boasts a sportier design thanks to a body kit consisting of a carbon fiber air intake cover and an aerodynamic air splitter. At the rear, the German tuning company equips the S 580 with a rear wing and a carbon fiber diffuser, along with new exhaust pipes and the Mansory logo. Additionally, the car is fitted with new 21-inch wheels from Mansory.
The tuning company hasn’t provided any information about the interior of the Mercedes-Benz S 580. However, some published images reveal the presence of illuminated door sills and Mansory-logo floor mats. The car is also outfitted with white leather seats, evoking a sense of luxury.
In its original state, the Mercedes-Benz S 580 comes equipped with a twin-turbocharged V8 4.0L engine featuring EQ Boost technology. This powertrain generates a maximum output of 496 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque. With this engine under the hood, the car can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds before reaching a top speed of 250 km/h.
