There are two Bentley Continental GT cars being recalled in Vietnam. The recall program is being implemented by Wearnes Vietnam Co., Ltd. for 2 Bentley Continental GT First Edition W12 and Continental GT W12 cars that were produced from June 15, 2018, to July 10, 2020.

The reason for the recall is that the water pump system of the affected vehicles can create pressure differences, which can cause coolant to seep down into the electrical circuit boards and connectors. Over time, this can lead to short circuits, overheating, and the risk of fire and explosion. To address this issue, Wearnes Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Bentley’s authorized dealers will inspect and rectify the problem for free. The repair process is estimated to take around one hour.

In addition to the recall, Wearnes Vietnam will also provide free repairs and inspections for imported vehicles through diplomatic channels and gift vehicles if they are on the affected list provided by Bentley Motors Limited.

Furthermore, Bentley Motors recently announced the recall of more than 1,600 Flying Spur vehicles in the US due to potential damage related to the entertainment system screen.
