Starting from October 2023, Nissan Vietnam has introduced a program offering 100% registration fee exemption and 0% interest for 12 months for the Almera model. This promotion allows customers purchasing the CVT version of this B-class sedan to save between 54 – 64 million VND, depending on the province of registration. For the Premium CVT version, the savings range from 59 – 71 million VND.
Throughout October, dealerships continue to provide cash incentives of up to 100 million VND for the Almera. As a result, the post-incentive price for the CVT version is only 439 million VND, while the Premium CVT version is priced at 495 million VND.
Despite the attractive pricing at dealerships, the Nissan Almera still faces strong competition in its segment. Other models, such as the Mazda2 Sedan, Kia Soluto, and Mitsubishi Attrage, offer lower prices. Additionally, competitors like the Honda City and Toyota Vios also provide incentives, including a 100% registration fee support program. Apart from its pricing, the Almera also suffers from drawbacks in terms of dealer network and after-sales service.
In terms of driving experience, the Nissan Almera offers a satisfactory performance in the B-class sedan segment. It is equipped with a turbocharged gasoline engine with a capacity of 1.0L, delivering a maximum power of 100 horsepower and a maximum torque of 160 Nm. The engine is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and achieves a fuel consumption of 4.5 liters per 100 km on the highway.
In addition to its performance, this Japanese car model also boasts attractive exterior features, including LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, 15-inch alloy wheels, and electric/foldable/power-adjustable mirrors with LED turn signals. Inside the car, the Nissan Almera is equipped with a sporty D-cut bottom flat steering wheel, an 8-inch touchscreen center display with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto support, a single-zone automatic air conditioning system, and USB/12V charging ports.
The Almera’s safety features are also noteworthy, with 6 airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD), hill start assist (HSA), vehicle dynamic control (VDC), traction control system (TCS), 360-degree camera, blind-spot warning, and rear cross-traffic alert.
Unfortunately, Nissan has not disclosed the specific sales figures for the Almera in Vietnam.
