On December 1, 2023, Honda Vietnam made an exciting announcement about their new promotion program for all car models. As part of this program, Honda City is now eligible for a 100% exemption on registration fees, an amount equivalent to the previous two months. This program is a collaboration between the company and the government, with each party providing 50% support. The initiative will be valid until December 31, 2023, and follows the policy for domestically produced and assembled vehicles.

This promotional campaign by Honda Vietnam is applicable for customers who sign car purchase contracts for the Honda City model and complete the payment procedures in full between December 5 and December 31, 2023. Additionally, the program offers a 10% registration fee rate.

Honda City currently offers 3 different versions, with prices ranging from 559 to 609 million VND. With the 100% registration fee exemption program, customers can save anywhere from 56 to 61 million VND, depending on the version and the province or city of registration.

In addition to Honda City, another B-segment sedan model, Toyota Vios, also applies the same official promotion program, allowing 100% registration fee exemption in December 2023.

With its impressive sales figures, Honda City has become one of Honda Vietnam’s best-selling models. In October 2023 alone, this B-segment sedan achieved sales of 751 units, making it the highest-selling car among all Honda Vietnam models. Since the beginning of the year, Honda City has achieved a total of 7,507 unit sales, ranking third in the B-segment sedan segment, behind Hyundai Accent and Toyota Vios.

Compared to its competitors in the segment, Honda City stands out with its sporty design and comprehensive safety features. The car comes equipped with Honda Sensing Active Safety System, which includes six standard features: collision mitigation braking system (CMBS), adaptive headlights (AHB), adaptive cruise control (ACC), lane-keeping assist system (LKAS), and front collision warning (LCDN).

Furthermore, the car boasts LED headlights, power-adjustable/foldable/retractable LED turn signal side mirrors, 16-inch alloy wheels, leather seats/steering wheel, a 4.2-inch multi-information display, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 8-speaker audio system, and automatic air conditioning.

Alongside its impressive features, Honda City receives praise for its spacious interior and exceptional driving experience. The engine remains unchanged, featuring a 1.5L i-VTEC 4-cylinder DOHC petrol engine that delivers a maximum power of 119 horsepower at 6,600 rpm and a peak torque of 145 Nm at 4,300 rpm. The engine is paired with a continuous variable transmission (CVT).
