Since the start of December 2023, companies have announced new promotion programs to boost end-of-year sales, and Honda Vietnam is no exception.
In December, all Honda Vietnam car models are eligible for the promotion program, including the new generation CR-V. This is the first official promotion program for the Honda CR-V 2024 after its launch in Vietnam in late October 2023.
Specifically, customers who purchase the Honda CR-V 2024 will receive 1 year of comprehensive insurance, 2 years of extended warranty, and a 3-year or 30,000 km maintenance package (whichever comes first). This program applies to customers who sign a contract to purchase the Honda CR-V L or G, the completely new 6th generation, and complete the full payment process from December 5th to December 31st, 2023.
In addition, the G and L versions of the Honda CR-V 2024 are also eligible for a 50% reduction in the registration fee according to the government’s policy for locally manufactured and assembled vehicles until December 31st, 2023. With this discount, customers can save at least 55 to 65 million VND, depending on the version and province where the vehicle is registered.

Promotion program for the new generation Honda CR-V in December 2023
Recently, some dealerships have also run their own promotions for the Honda CR-V 2024. For example, a dealership in Hung Yen province offers a 100% reduction in the registration fee for the 2WD G and L versions of this model. As a result, customers can save from 111 to 118 million VND when registering their new Honda CR-V.
There are also promotions for the previous generation Honda CR-V. A dealership in Hanoi is currently supporting a 200% reduction in the registration fee for the old Honda CR-V, equivalent to a value of up to 200 million VND.
The Honda CR-V 2024 in Vietnam is available in 4 versions with prices ranging from 1.109 to 1.31 billion VND. With this price range, the Honda CR-V 2024 is currently the most expensive SUV in the C-segment in Vietnam. The high price is a significant disadvantage for this Japanese model when competing with other rivals in the same segment such as the Mazda CX-5, Ford Territory, Subaru Forester, or Hyundai Tucson.
In the new generation, the Honda CR-V has been comprehensively upgraded from design to equipment and engine. The car features LED headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with memory function for 2 positions, 4-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, digital instrument cluster, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto support, Bose 12-speaker sound system, automatic air conditioning, interior ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, Head-Up Display, remote engine start, smart key card, and electronic parking brake.
Furthermore, for the first time, the Honda CR-V in Vietnam has a hybrid version. This version is equipped with a 2.0L 4-cylinder gasoline engine with a power output of 146 horsepower. The engine is combined with 2 electric motors with a total output of 181 horsepower. Overall, the hybrid version has a power output of 204 horsepower and a maximum torque of 335 Nm.
Meanwhile, the gasoline version of the car uses a 1.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with a maximum power output of 188 horsepower and a maximum torque of 240 Nm, like the previous model. The engine is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
