Recently, Honda Vietnam has announced its official promotion program for its car models, including the BR-V. According to the program, during December 2023, the Honda BR-V will enjoy a 50% reduction in registration fees.
Honda Vietnam’s promotion program will be applied to customers who sign a contract to purchase the BR-V and complete the full payment procedures from December 5th to 31st, 2023. At the same time, the program will be applied with a 10% reduction in registration fees.
Therefore, compared to the promotion program in September, October, and November 2023, the BR-V’s promotion in this month has been reduced. In the previous 3 months, Honda’s MPV model was offered a 100% reduction in registration fees for the standard G version and a 50% reduction for the premium L version.
The current price of the Honda BR-V is 661 million VND for the G version and 705 million VND for the L version. With the company’s promotion program, customers can save approximately 33 million VND for the G version and 35 million VND for the L version. This promotion value is quite modest compared to competitors in the same segment such as the Toyota Veloz Cross and Hyundai Stargazer.
During the past period, the Honda BR-V achieved positive sales figures despite its relatively high price in the segment. Specifically, in September 2023, 793 units of the Honda BR-V were sold to Vietnamese customers. The corresponding number in October 2023 was 468 units.
The Honda BR-V has many advantages such as a robust and attractive SUV-MPV design, spacious 7-seat interior, sufficient convenience features, and a wide range of safety features. This model owns LED lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, leather seats, sports paddle shift steering wheel, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, phone connectivity via CarPlay/Android Auto/USB, 6-speaker audio system, air conditioning with individual vents for all 3 rows, power chargers for all seats, and remote engine start feature.
In addition, it includes the standard Honda Sensing active safety package, which consists of 6 features: collision mitigation braking system (CMBS), adaptive automatic headlights (AHB), adaptive cruise control (ACC), lane departure warning (RDM), lane-keeping assist system (LKAS), and lead car departure notification (LCDN). The premium version will also have 6 airbags and Honda LaneWatch lane watch system.
Furthermore, the Honda BR-V possesses a superior engine power in its segment. Under the hood of the Honda BR-V is a 1.5L i-VTEC 4-cylinder gasoline engine, DOHC, with a maximum power output of 119 horsepower and a peak torque of 145 Nm. The engine is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and front-wheel drive system.
