Honda has recently announced the 2024 version of the Ridgeline with significant updates to the interior. The new TrailSport version is equipped with all-terrain tires and an adjustable suspension system that focuses on off-road capabilities.

The Japanese automaker claims that the 2024 Ridgeline TrailSport is the best-performing pickup truck they have ever produced. The Ridgeline TrailSport features 18-inch wheels wrapped in General Grabber A/T Sport tires, providing better road grip compared to other Ridgeline variants.

In addition, the TrailSport version stands out with an orange badge and a Diffuse Sky Blue exterior paint. The 2024 Ridgeline is still powered by a 3.5L V6 engine that delivers a maximum output of 280 horsepower and a peak torque of 355 Nm.

The cabin of the 2024 Honda Ridgeline also receives some updates, including a more traditional center armrest, a large cup holder, and a wireless Qi charger. The touch screen is now larger, measuring 9.0 inches, and supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Additionally, the standard equipment includes a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster.

The 2024 Honda Ridgeline is expected to be available in the US starting in early December 2023. The price has not been announced yet.

Some people may think that the updates for the 2024 Ridgeline are quite modest. However, Honda may not have much incentive to redesign the mid-size pickup truck. In the first 10 months of 2023, Honda sold 43,701 Ridgeline units in the US. If this growth trend continues, 2023 could be the best year in terms of sales for the Ridgeline. So, why make significant changes when customers already love the current design of the Ridgeline?
