This is the second version of the new Toyota Crown lineup to be offered in the US, following the debut of the Crown Crossover in 2022. The Toyota Crown Crossover serves as a replacement for the Avalon in the US market, while the Toyota Crown Signia replaces the mid-size SUV Venza.

The Toyota Crown Signia 2024 flaunts prominent raised creases near the window sill, a low roof that exudes a sportier vibe compared to traditional SUVs, 19-21-inch wheels, a sloping rear end, and slender taillights with a continuous design. Glossy black exterior details such as front/rear bumper trim, wheel arch moldings, and door trims further accentuate the car’s aesthetic. Unlike its Japanese counterpart, the Toyota Crown Signia SUV doesn’t feature the Crown brand logo on the front and rear.
Interior Design of the Toyota Crown Signia 2024
Despite its spaciousness, the Toyota Crown Signia 2024 comes with a 2-row, 5-seat interior. The car’s rear seats can be folded 60:40, allowing for the transportation of items up to 2 meters long, surpassing the cargo bed of the Ford Ranger.

The Limited version adds leather seats, heated/ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a fixed panoramic sunroof, digital rearview mirror, and a JBL Premium Audio 11-speaker sound system.
In addition to the TNGA-K platform, the Toyota Crown Signia 2024 is equipped with soundproof glass and an engine bay cover made of noise-reducing material. These features ensure a quiet interior space for the car.
Engine of the Toyota Crown Signia 2024
Following the current trend in the Toyota lineup, the Crown Signia exclusively adopts a hybrid powertrain. The car is powered by a 2.5L 4-cylinder gasoline engine paired with two electric motors, producing a combined output of 243 horsepower. The engine is mated to an e-CVT transmission and offers 4-wheel drive. The drivetrain can distribute up to 80% of the power to the rear wheels when needed to minimize front-wheel slippage and reduce head toss. According to Toyota, the mid-size SUV has an approximate average fuel consumption of 6.53 liters per 100 km.
