The KTM 390 Adventure X stands out from the standard model with its two black and blue paint colors and a new decal pattern. However, the most significant changes are found in the bike’s electronics. The X variant has fewer features than the standard model, opting for a monochrome LCD screen instead of a color TFT with Bluetooth connectivity support.
Notably, the X version does not come equipped with traction control system, riding modes, cornering ABS, and quickshifter. However, it does retain features such as full LED lighting, 2-channel ABS with Off-Road mode, slipper clutch, and a 12V USB-A socket.
Mechanically, the KTM 390 Adventure X shares the same specifications as the standard version. It is powered by a liquid-cooled, 4-valve single-cylinder engine with a displacement of 373cc and a 6-speed gearbox. The engine produces a maximum power of 42.9 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and a peak torque of 37 Nm at 7,000 rpm.
The bike’s suspension system and brakes, provided by WP Apex and Bybre respectively, remain unchanged. Therefore, the 390 Adventure X continues to deliver an impressive riding experience in the under-500cc motorcycle segment.
In Vietnam, the KTM 390 Adventure 2022 is officially distributed starting at 236 million Vietnamese Dong (including VAT), which is three times more expensive than its Indian market counterpart.
