Expected to be launched in March, Honda India is planning to introduce a facelift version of the City sedan. However, ahead of its official unveiling, leaked images of the 2024 Honda City Facelift have emerged on social media. As anticipated, the new model will feature subtle changes to both its interior and exterior, making the sedan even more appealing.
From the leaked images, it is clear that the updated City retains its timeless beauty. The top variant will come equipped with LED headlights, while lower variants will feature projector headlights.
The front of the car stands out with a new, compact grille adorned with honeycomb patterns. It also boasts new alloy wheels and color-matched details, with tweaked front and rear bumpers.
Inside, the City receives several upgrades. Additional new features include ventilated seats, a new entertainment system, and wireless Apple Carplay / Android Auto connectivity.
In the Indian market, Honda will discontinue the 1.5L diesel engine, and the City will only be available with a 1.5L petrol engine producing 121 horsepower. This engine can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission. Additionally, Honda will offer a 1.5L hybrid petrol engine with a maximum power of 126 horsepower, coupled with an e-CVT transmission.
Due to the updated engine to meet new emission standards, the price of the City Facelift in the Indian market is expected to increase compared to the previous version.
