To celebrate the launch of the new GX generation, Lexus has showcased all generations of the Lexus GX, including the GX470 2008, GX470 2009, GX460 2010, and the AAP Builds models, including the previous-generation Lexus GX 460 Premium 2022 and the brand-new Lexus GX 550 Overtrail+ 2024.

Lexus GX 550 Overtrail+ AAP Build 2024

The new GX generation is the highlight of SEMA 2023 and is sure to attract the most attention from visitors. It is based on the top-of-the-line GX 550 Overtrail+ version and is powered by a twin-turbocharged V6 3.4L engine, delivering a maximum power of 349 horsepower. The GX retains the standard 18-inch wheels with Toyo Open Country A/T 33-inch tires, but now features an air compressor for the tires and roof racks for protection during off-road terrains, along with standard aluminum skid plates.

Moreover, the SUV is equipped with a roof tent, rear window accessories, and Pelican’s BX90R and BX55S cargo boxes, combined with Prinsu’s truck bed protection CXB550, enhancing its practicality for adventurous journeys.

Lexus GX 460 Premium AAP Build 2022

The previous-generation Lexus GX also received great attention at this year’s SEMA Show, showcasing a range of unique accessories. The Lexus GX 460 Premium 2022 stands out with its Matte Yellow Saffron paint and features 18-inch wheels wrapped in Toyo Open Country A/T 34-inch tires. The vehicle’s underbody protection is enhanced with CBI Offroad skid plates and rock sliders. Under the hood, the original V8 4.6L engine still generates 301 horsepower.

For camping enthusiasts, the modified Lexus GX 460 Premium 2022 comes equipped with a Kammok Roo Double Hammock for two people that can be stowed on the Prinsu Roof Rack. The SUV also features an ARB refrigerator and freezer in the rear, ensuring food and drinks are preserved during long off-road adventures.

Lexus LX 600 Premium AAP Build 2022

The only modified model at SEMA that doesn’t belong to the Lexus GX lineup is the Lexus LX 600 Premium AAP Build 2022. This standout large SUV showcases custom Aquamarine blue paint, contrast matte gray grille, 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Toyo Open Country A/T 33-inch tires, and shiny black accents around the body. Like all Lexus LX 600 models, this AAP version is powered by a twin-turbocharged V6 3.5L engine, producing 409 horsepower.

Lexus states that the LX AAP Build is the perfect choice for spontaneous weekend camping trips, featuring a Kammok Crosswing Car Awning for shade and rain protection. Additionally, there is a small kitchen for cooking, paddleboarding, and surfboards mounted on the roof rack.
