Recently, Mazda has introduced an upgraded version of the CX-3 in the Malaysian market. The 2024 Mazda CX-3 is available in three variants: 1.5G 2WD Plus, 2.0G 2WD Plus, and 2.0G 2WD High. The price range for this model starts from 115,720 – 139,159 RM (approximately 601 – 723 million VND), which is significantly higher than the current Mazda CX-3 price in Vietnam (524 – 644 million VND).

The new version of this B-segment SUV retains the same design as its predecessor. However, Mazda has added additional convenience and safety features to the car.

Compared to the previous version, the 2024 Mazda CX-3 standard version for the Malaysian market now comes with LED headlights with automatic on/off function, automatic high/low beam control, daytime running LED lights, and power-adjustable/automatic folding mirrors with integrated turn signals.

This B-segment SUV, imported from Thailand, still features LED combination taillights, Halogen rear fog lights, and automatic wipers. The lower trims of the car are equipped with 16-inch wheels and do not have front fog lights. On the other hand, the highest trim comes with 18-inch alloy wheels and front LED fog lights.

Inside the car, the two lower trims of the 2024 Mazda CX-3 now offer wireless Apple CarPlay connectivity. All three variants feature an 8-inch touchscreen display, a 6-speaker audio system, and 2 USB ports.

Moreover, the two lower trims are equipped with a reverse camera, while the highest trim offers a 360-degree camera, wireless phone charging, a head-up display (HUD), power-adjustable sunroof, and auto-dimming rearview mirror.

In the 2024 version, the Mazda CX-3 for Malaysia is equipped with the standard i-Activsense active safety package, which includes features such as adaptive headlights, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, and emergency automatic braking. Regardless of the variant, the car comes with 6 airbags instead of the previous version’s 2 airbags, as well as 4 rear sensors. The 2.0G High variant also offers additional features like driver attention alert and front parking sensors.

Under the hood, the 2024 Mazda CX-3 in the Malaysian market is available with two naturally aspirated 4-cylinder gasoline engines: a 1.5L and a 2.0L. The 1.5L engine delivers a maximum power of 114 horsepower and a peak torque of 149 Nm, while the 2.0L engine produces 154 horsepower and 206 Nm of torque. Both engines are paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission with standard steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters.
