In the final month of 2023, Nissan, much like its competitors Honda, Toyota, and Ford, has launched a new promotion for its models. During December, Nissan will cover the entire registration fee for customers who purchase three specific models: Kicks e-Power, Almera, and Navara.

The Nissan Almera in Vietnam is currently available in two versions, with prices ranging from 539 million VND to 595 million VND. By availing themselves of the 100% registration fee exemption, customers can save between 54 million VND and 60 million VND, depending on the version, when going through the registration process.

Meanwhile, the Nissan Kicks e-Power also comes in two versions, with prices ranging from 789 million VND to 858 million VND. Therefore, the 100% registration fee exemption for this model amounts to savings between 79 million VND and 86 million VND.

As for the Nissan Navara, it is available in three versions, with prices ranging from 699 million VND to 970 million VND. By registering this model, customers can reduce their costs by 70 million VND to 97 million VND.

Additionally, Nissan Vietnam is offering 0% interest for 12 months to customers who purchase these three models, with the ability to convert it into cash. The December 2023 incentive program from Nissan Vietnam has a maximum conversion value of up to 125 million VND. This program will be applicable to customers who sign contracts and make a deposit for Nissan vehicles between December 1, 2023, and December 31, 2023.

Nissan Kicks e-Power E 789,000,000
V 858,000,000

VL 4WD 945,000,000
PRO-4X 970,000,000

December 2023 incentive program for Nissan Vietnam

All three models offered by Nissan Vietnam are imported as completely built-up (CBU) units from Thailand. As a result, these models are not eligible for the government’s 50% registration fee exemption, which lasts until December 31, 2023.

Moreover, the three Nissan models still suffer from uncompetitive pricing within their respective segments. Combined with the overall decline in the Vietnam auto market, there hasn’t been a month without official promotions for Nissan cars.

Fuel efficiency engines are perhaps the main advantage shared by Nissan models. Among them, the Nissan Almera is equipped with a turbocharged gasoline engine with a capacity of 1.0L, delivering a maximum power of 100 horsepower and a peak torque of 160 Nm. This engine is coupled with an infinitely variable CVT transmission and offers a fuel consumption rate of 4.5 liters/100 km on highways.

On the other hand, the Nissan Kicks e-Power utilizes a hybrid powertrain, consisting of an electric motor, lithium-ion battery, inverter, gasoline engine, and generator. The electric motor generates a maximum power output of 136 horsepower and a peak torque of 280 Nm. The gasoline engine, on the other hand, is a 3-cylinder, DOHC, 12-valve unit with a displacement of 1.2L, producing 82 horsepower and 103 Nm of torque. However, the primary role of the gasoline engine is to act as a generator, supplying electricity to the battery and motor. Thanks to this powertrain configuration, the Nissan Kicks e-Power achieves an impressive fuel consumption rating of 2.2 liters/100 km in urban areas, 6.1 liters/100 km on highways, and 4.6 liters/100 km combined.

Finally, the Nissan Navara features a 4-cylinder, twin-turbocharged diesel engine with a capacity of 2.3L, generating a maximum power of 190 horsepower and a peak torque of 450 Nm. This engine is mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission with a manual shifting mode and is available in either rear-wheel drive or part-time 4-wheel drive configurations, the latter option featuring an electronic locking differential button (depending on the version).
