Following a successful Race 1, the racers from Honda Racing Vietnam approached Race 2 with confidence and determination. Particularly, Cao Viet Nam, who had high expectations of breaking into the Top 5 in Stage 4’s Race 2 after an impressive performance in Race 1. Cao Viet Nam showcased exceptional racing skills in Race 1, consistently competing at the top for 10 laps and ultimately securing 6th place.
Heading into Race 2, Cao Viet Nam maintained his unwavering confidence and determination to further improve his overall ranking. Unfortunately, at the final corner of lap 1, Cao Viet Nam encountered an unfortunate crash caused by an unaddressed oil spill from the UB150 category race. This early crash made it challenging for the number 65 racer to replicate his top 10 performance from Race 1. Nevertheless, the daring racer gave his all and managed to finish in 18th place out of 27 competitors in the AP250 category.
If Race 2 brought disappointment for Cao Viet Nam, it also highlighted the remarkable performance of fellow racer Nguyen Duc Thanh (number 193) as he unexpectedly secured a spot in the Top 15, earning his first championship points. This achievement is truly admirable, considering Thanh started from the 26th position. These initial points will undoubtedly serve as strong motivation for Thanh to push even harder in the upcoming races within the AP250 category.
In the UB150 category, there were no surprises as the racers from Honda Racing Vietnam, Nguyen Anh Tuan #178 and Nguyen Huu Tri #111, were unable to make any noteworthy breakthroughs and concluded the race towards the bottom positions. Nevertheless, the unwavering efforts of these Vietnamese racers cannot be undermined.
We eagerly anticipate luck favoring the racers from Honda Racing Vietnam in the upcoming races, enabling them to accumulate even more championship points.
