The Rolls-Royce Cullinan, a popular SUV model from Rolls-Royce, is getting an upgrade. A test vehicle was recently spotted near the company’s research and development center in Munich, Germany. The new version features some changes to its exterior design.

In 2015, Rolls-Royce introduced the Cullinan as their first-ever SUV. Since then, it has become one of the brand’s best-selling models. Now, the Cullinan is receiving a mid-life upgrade, with minor tweaks to its appearance.

The images of the upgrade show that the Cullinan has a smaller front grille, without the chrome trim, and additional LED strips. The headlights have been modified with new graphics, giving them a sleeker look. The side air vents have been enlarged, while the central air vent has been reduced in size and the chrome strip has been removed.

At the rear, the upper trim of the bumper has been modified to accommodate larger chrome dual exhaust pipes. This suggests that the Cullinan still uses an internal combustion engine, at least for the time being.

The Rolls-Royce Cullinan is currently one of the most powerful SUVs on the market. It is likely that the new version will retain its impressive engine specifications. The current Cullinan is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 6.75-liter V12 engine, producing 563 horsepower in the standard model and 591 horsepower in the sportier Black Series version. However, this could be the last Cullinan model with an internal combustion engine, as Rolls-Royce plans to electrify its entire product lineup by 2030.

Rolls-Royce has not yet announced the official launch date for the upgraded Cullinan. According to Carscoops, the new version might be unveiled in late 2024 or early 2025.
