Set to make its global debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 17, the highly anticipated Subaru Forester 2024 has already caused a stir with leaked images of its exterior and interior prior to its official launch.
The Headlightmag website reported that the new Subaru Forester will be offered in two configurations: Touring and Sport. However, specific details about their differences have yet to be disclosed.
When it comes to design, the sixth-generation Subaru Forester has undergone notable adjustments that provide a more contemporary appearance while still preserving the brand’s iconic features through its bold lines. The front of the SUV stands out with a larger grille, enhanced by sleek LED daytime running lights that seamlessly connect to the grille. The sporty aesthetic is further accentuated by a black plastic front bumper and triangular fog lights.
Examining the side profile of the vehicle, the Subaru Forester 2024 boasts more pronounced wheel arches and a boxier shape. The visible ribs on the side have been minimized, while new alloy wheels and a larger D-pillar contribute to a rugged and sturdy presence.
The redesigned rear end of the Subaru Forester 2024 abandons its previous “shrimp tail” taillights. Instead, a new taillight cluster connected by a strip of LED lights spans the width of the rear. The rear bumper sports a black plastic finish and integrates imitation exhaust pipes, consistent with the front design.
Mirroring the latest Subaru models, the 2024 Forester’s cabin showcases a vertical touchscreen infotainment system. Positioned behind the steering wheel, the SUV features two dials flanking a small display screen. In terms of controls, physical buttons have been minimized, making room for USB-C ports and wireless phone charging. The interior surfaces of the cabin are cloaked in soft leather, adding a touch of luxury to the overall ambiance.
Information regarding potential changes to the powertrain of the Subaru Forester 2024 remains undisclosed. In numerous markets, this SUV is solely equipped with a 2.5L 4-cylinder boxer engine, generating modest figures of 182 horsepower and 239 Nm of torque.
