Upgraded Interior for 2024 Kia Carnival, Includes Hybrid Option

The cabin of the 2024 Kia Carnival features a sophisticated and premium two-tone design. The center control cluster has been redesigned for a more simplified look with fewer buttons. The car also comes with a touchscreen control panel for adjusting the air conditioning, similar to other recent Kia models like the Sportage, Niro, and Sorento.

Additionally, the Carnival has a large curved display cluster, similar to the 2024 K5 model. This display combines a digital gauge cluster with an infotainment screen. The dashboard also features yellow highlights, adding a touch of style to the interior.

Kia has yet to reveal specific details about the powertrain upgrades for the 2024 Carnival. However, the company has confirmed that a hybrid powertrain option will be available in addition to gasoline and diesel engine options in the South Korean market. The new Carnival also boasts improved suspension for a smoother ride and additional sound insulation materials for a quieter cabin.

In terms of technology, the 2024 Carnival offers an upgraded digital key, enhanced support for over-the-air updates, and a new heads-up display (HUD). The car is also equipped with the Highway Drive Assist 2 system, which provides automatic driving assistance by maintaining a safe distance from other vehicles, keeping a preset speed, and staying within the lane. The system now includes lane change assistance, an improvement over the previous generation. Furthermore, Kia is expected to offer additional advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) for the 2024 Carnival.

Pre-orders for the 2024 Carnival in South Korea began on November 8th. The version for the US market is likely to be showcased at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show later this month.
