While driving on a busy street in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China, a Cao Cao 60 EV electric car suddenly lost its battery, which fell onto the road. Despite losing the battery, the electric car continued to run for another 20 meters before coming to a stop.

This car uses battery swapping technology, allowing users to avoid waiting for charging and enabling a travel range of up to 415 km on a single charge, according to the CLTC test cycle in China.

The Cao Cao 60 EV is specifically designed for ride-hailing service providers and is not available for regular individual customers.

During the launch event of the 60 EV, the Cao Cao brand emphasized that this electric car model is designed to meet the needs of ride-hailing service providers and offers high durability. However, the incident of the battery falling off has raised concerns about the brand.

A representative from Ruilan Automobile commented on the incident, stating that the vehicle involved was a test vehicle.
