Viloran is the largest specialized ground aircraft in the Volkswagen brand and the MPV segment that is currently available for sale in Vietnam.

According to Volkswagen, Viloran may be launched in Vietnam by the end of December, serving as a replacement for Sharan, which is no longer sold in Vietnam. This model is expected to be a formidable competitor in the premium MPV segment.

Viloran is positioned as a premium MPV, catering to businessmen, businesses, and multi-generation families that enjoy traveling.

Currently, Volkswagen Viloran is accepting deposits at select dealerships with a deposit amount of 100 million VND. The car will be available in two versions: Premium and Luxury, with recommended prices of 1,989 and 2,188 billion VND respectively. It is anticipated that the first batch of cars will be delivered in the first quarter of 2024.

Viloran showcases Volkswagen’s characteristic V-line design style. The front of the car stands out with an eye-catching chrome-plated grille, harmoniously complemented by the large IQ Light headlights and a highly recognizable lighting configuration.

The side of the car features a symmetrical and harmonious design, unique 20-inch wheels, and a sloping rear angle, giving it a luxurious and classy appearance rarely found in other models.

Inside the Viloran cabin, the layout resembles its “siblings” such as Touareg and Teramont.

The second-row seats are upholstered in premium leather with a business-style design. This row of seats includes individual armrests, cup holders, phone trays, charging ports, storage compartments, and a middle aisle.

Passengers in the second row also benefit from electrically adjustable footrests, allowing them to adjust the angle up to 90 degrees. The seats have electric adjustment capabilities, a maximum reclining angle of 70 degrees, cooling or heating features, 3 massage modes, and adjustable headrests that provide optimal support and comfort in both sitting and lying positions.

Volkswagen equips Viloran with its famous IQ Light technology lighting system, which provides maximum support and high aesthetic value. This intelligent adaptive LED lighting system offers a range of advanced lighting support functions, including automatic on/off function, active adjustment of the illumination area, and welcome lights. The adaptive front lighting system includes an extended cornering light function, active cornering light adjustment function, automatic light height adjustment function, and lighting for all weather conditions.

Viloran is developed based on the MQB chassis system, with a steel proportion capable of bearing a load of 77%. The car’s frame is soundproofed and not noisy at high speeds, thanks to APVB soundproof glass (4.96mm), ensuring a comfortable rest for passengers during long journeys.

It is unclear which engine will be equipped in the Vietnam version, but it is known that the engine will come with a new-generation 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission. This transmission provides optimal torque transmission capability, ensuring smooth shifting. Passengers will enjoy enhanced comfort, smoothness, and power transmission capability when climbing, carrying loads, and accelerating.

The car is also equipped with numerous advanced safety features that provide maximum support for the driver, including:

– Adaptive cruise control (ACC + Stop & Go feature): This system automatically maintains the speed set by the driver and adjusts the speed to maintain a safe distance with the vehicle in front.

– Forward collision warning (FCW) and emergency brake assist (AEB): These features detect vehicles and pedestrians in front, providing warnings and applying braking force if necessary to avoid collisions.

– Lane change assist: Rear radar sensors monitor the area behind the car, providing warnings through images on the rearview mirror to assist with lane changes.

– Park assist: Ultrasonic waves detect obstacles in front and behind the car, providing visual and auditory warnings to the driver. The system can also support parking maneuvers, including parallel and perpendicular parking.
