Hennessey has introduced a new supercharger kit, along with an upgraded high-flow induction system, improved fuel injectors, and an upgraded fuel pump to provide an additional 70% increase in power to the already formidable 2024 Mustang Dark Horse.
Tuning company Hennessey Performance is back with its latest offering, the H850, a new upgrade package for the 2024 Mustang Dark Horse. As the name suggests, under the hood of the 2024 Mustang Dark Horse now resides a powerful 850-horsepower engine.
The all-new Ford S650 Mustang Dark Horse rolls off the production line with a fourth-generation Coyote V8 5.0-liter engine that delivers 500 horsepower (372 kW). Buyers can choose either a 6-speed manual transmission from Tremec or Ford’s 10-speed automatic. In both configurations, the car comes equipped with large Brembo brakes.
However, after receiving the Hennessey Performance treatment, the power of the 2024 Mustang Dark Horse has been increased by an additional 70%. To achieve this, Hennessey has installed a larger supercharger kit, improved fuel injectors, an upgraded fuel pump, and combined them with HPE Engine Management software. The result is a Mustang that now boasts up to 850 horsepower and 880 Nm of torque.
“Our boosted Mustangs have consistently been customer favorites over the years, and the improved S650 platform from Ford will showcase its best capabilities. There’s no doubt our 850-horsepower Dark Horse Turbo Mustang will be one of the most powerful and thrilling muscle cars on the road, sure to turn heads with its unique sound and exhaust note,” said John Hennessey, Founder and CEO.
In addition to the engine upgrade, Hennessey Performance has also made some exterior modifications to the 2024 Mustang Dark Horse, including new forged aluminum wheels, a carbon fiber rear wing, carbon fiber side skirts, and a carbon fiber front splitter.
