Thanks to the upgrades by Phiphi Performance, the BMW M2 now boasts a more powerful and sporty appearance.
The article features one of only three BMW M2 vehicles currently in Vietnam, and it is the sole one in Saigon. Despite its original black color, the upgrades have transformed it into the most outstanding M2 in the country.
The tuning version was carried out by Phiphi Performance, a specialized BMW tuning garage in Saigon. Initially, the tuning company opted for the M2 Competition front bumper instead of the original front bumper and added a carbon lip, which not only reduces weight but also enhances the car’s aesthetics and sportiness.
Although the air vents may seem like small details, they are also made of carbon, contributing to the overall harmony of the car. Moreover, the headlights have been upgraded to LCI LED lights, commonly found in BMW’s premium models.
The vehicle is fitted with dual-spoke BBS wheels, complemented by 4-piston brakes and yellow Brembo brake discs, making it truly stand out.
The original side mirrors of this M2 have been replaced with carbon M4 mirrors that come with integrated blind spot warning cameras. Carbon side skirts have also been added to enhance the car’s aesthetics and aerodynamics.
Notably, the carbon shark fin antenna on the roof not only enhances the car’s visual appeal but also significantly reduces weight, resulting in improved performance.
At the rear, the car is equipped with Fi Exhaust exhaust pipes with on/off valves, which greatly enhance the sound of the M2 compared to the stock version. Additionally, the car features a high-performance carbon rear wing from the new generation of M Performance for the BMW M4. This detail not only adds to the aesthetics but also provides downforce, improving stability at high speeds. Similar to the front lights, the taillights have also been upgraded to LCI LED lights.
The tuning company didn’t specify the drivetrain, but it’s highly likely that the BMW M2 still employs the original 3.0-liter 6-cylinder turbocharged engine, delivering 365 horsepower and 465 Nm of torque. With this power, the BMW M2 can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds (only 0.2 seconds slower than the BMW M4) and achieve a top speed of 250 km/h.
