To attract customers at the end of the year, Kia dealerships have collectively launched a promotion for the Kia K5 model, with a popular discount of 65 million VND. In particular, some dealerships have even offered a “shocking” discount of nearly 140 million VND for this mid-size sedan.

Kia dealerships are currently selling the 2022 Kia K5 model at a discounted price of 65 million VND compared to the list price. The actual selling price of the car is 784 million VND for the Luxury version and 839 million VND for the Premium version. The GT-Line version is not eligible for the promotion.

Especially, a dealership in Hanoi is selling the white Luxury version of the 2022 Kia K5 with VIN number at a reduced price of 139 million VND compared to the list price. This shocking discount brings the actual price of the car down to only 720 million VND, lower than the starting price of the Toyota Corolla Altis (starting from 725 million VND).

Meanwhile, the 2023 Kia K5 is still sold at the listed price of 859 – 904 – 999 million VND for the Luxury, Premium, and GT-Line versions respectively. This model is assembled domestically, so customers will enjoy a 50% reduction in registration fee when completing the registration process.

The Kia K5 is considered one of the attractive models in the mid-size sedan segment in Vietnam. The car has a higher price than the Mazda6 (starting from 779 million VND) but lower than the Toyota Camry (from 1,105 billion VND) and Honda Accord (from 1,319 billion VND).

In the Vietnam market, the Kia K5 has 2 engine options. The Luxury and Premium versions use a 2.0 MPI engine, with a power output of 150 horsepower and a torque of 192 Nm, along with a 6-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. The GT-Line version uses a 2.5 GDI engine, with a power output of 191 horsepower and a torque of 246 Nm, an 8-speed automatic transmission, and front-wheel drive.

As of the end of October 2023, the accumulated sales of the Kia K5 reached 827 units, ranking above the Honda Accord (41 units), but behind the Toyota Camry (2,051 units) and Mazda6 (921 units).
