Lamborghini Aventador is a popular supercar in Vietnam, with various versions available. Recently, due to the economic downturn, many wealthy individuals have had to sell their cars, resulting in several Aventador LP700-4 Coupe models appearing on the used car market. There are currently 3 of these cars available for sale in the southern region and 4 in the northern region.
This particular Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is one of them. According to the seller, the car has traveled over 9,000 km and is listed at nearly 20 billion VND. The car is from 2014 but has only been in Vietnam for the past 5 years. This “supercar” also participated in the Car & Passion 2019 journey.
A few months ago, the owner of the car attempted to sell it for nearly 18 billion VND in various groups, but there were no buyers. Instead, a luxury car business bought it back. The 20 billion VND price tag of this Lamborghini on the used car market caused controversy due to a potential profit of up to 2 billion VND.
However, very few people are willing to take the risk of investing a large sum of money in luxury goods such as supercars, especially during an economic recession when it’s challenging to sell luxury cars worth billions of VND.
According to Autodaily’s research, this Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster created a buzz on social media when it was owned by a young man in Dak Lak who made a financial investment after selling his Huracan LP610-4. Prior to that, the car had been owned by a newly rich individual in Binh Phuoc. At the time of registration, the estimated value of the car was about 30 billion VND.
The original car had a white exterior color, which is quite common for many Aventador LP700-4 models in Vietnam. However, the color has been changed to blue using a direct paint method, giving the car a shiny and new look.
The original double-spoke black wheels and red brake calipers of the car have been upgraded to 20-inch multi-spoke wheels painted black, replacing the traditional bolts with SV/SVJ locking bolts. The brake calipers have been changed to a striking brown color.
Some carbon fiber details include front/rear air intakes, side air intakes, and a diffuser. There is also a carbon fiber patterned decal on the mirrors.
Unlike the coupe version, the Aventador Roadster features a 2-piece convertible top that can be manually opened/closed and stored in the front trunk. The primary distinguishing feature is the horizontally split engine cover, divided into 2 pieces to allow observation of the engine underneath and better heat dissipation.
The interior of this rare Lamborghini Aventador convertible was originally covered in predominantly black leather, accented with white stitching. After several changes of ownership, the original leather has been replaced with mostly cream-colored leather, highlighted with purple stitching and borders.
The sports seats are electronically adjustable, providing a more comfortable sitting experience compared to the Racing seats with carbon fiber frames that are quite stiff. The control panel includes multiple buttons and a central infotainment screen. Carbon fiber materials cover both this position and the dashboard.
All Lamborghini Aventador models are equipped with the same 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V12 engine. However, the LP700-4 version only produces a maximum power of 691 horsepower (700 PS) and a maximum torque of 690 Nm. It also features a 4-wheel drive system and a 7-speed ISR dual-clutch transmission. The car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, with a top speed of 349 km/h.
