Geely’s Sales Skyrocket in November, More than 200,000 Cars Delivered

Geely, a well-known automotive conglomerate, has crafted a strategic initiative aimed at reintroducing its subsidiary brands to the Vietnamese market.

Geely Auto has recently announced that their monthly sales in November achieved a new record of 200,079 units, marking the third consecutive month of reaching a new high. This represents an 11% increase compared to the previous month and a 38% increase compared to the same period last year. It’s worth noting that Geely’s sales have doubled compared to the same period last year for 10 months in a row.

Out of the total sales, 65,034 vehicles powered by new energy were sold in November, showing a 5% increase compared to the previous month and an impressive 88% increase compared to the same period last year. The cumulative sales of new energy vehicles from January to October have already exceeded 420,000 units, with an annual growth rate of 50%.

Geely’s impressive sales growth in November leads to over 200,000 vehicles being delivered to customers.

Breaking down the sales by brand, Geely brand alone achieved 153,845 sales in November, which is a 10% increase compared to the previous month and a significant 42% increase compared to the same period last year. Notable models include Geely Galaxy with 13,770 units sold in November, all-electric Geometry series with 20,329 units sold, and China Star series reaching 43,692 units.

Lynk & Co, on the other hand, saw sales of 30,055 units in November, which is a substantial 22% increase compared to the previous month and an impressive 66% increase compared to the same period last year. Electric vehicles accounted for more than 50% of Lynk & Co’s sales, and the Lynk & Co 08 EM-P, a mid-size SUV, surpassed 10,000 units sold in November. Specifically, the Lynk & Co 08 EM-P, which is owned by Lynk & Co New Energy, achieved 10,019 units sold in November.

The Jikrypton brand has also achieved positive year-on-year growth for 10 months in a row, with a 19% increase compared to the same period last year and a total delivery volume of over 180,000 units. The launch of the Jikrypton 007 at the Guangzhou Auto Show is expected to further boost the sales growth rate of the Jikrypton brand.

Rui Lan Auto, specializing in the field of charging and battery replacement, sold 3,075 units in November. The company currently offers two main products: Rui Blue 7 and Rui Blue 9. In terms of exports, Geely Auto’s exports reached 30,209 units in November, showing a 6% increase compared to the previous month and a remarkable 62% increase compared to the same period last year.
