Recently, the image of 2 Trung Nguyen rescue vehicles carrying 1 supercar and an SUV from Ho Chi Minh City to Dak Lak has caught the attention of many people because one vehicle was carefully covered with a tarp, and it is unknown what kind of car it is. Some speculate that it could be a Porsche sports car, but there are also opinions that it is a high-end luxury car that is covered to ensure privacy.
So just by looking at the photo and watching the video below, can you guess which Porsche is being covered?
The image taken from behind the Trung Nguyen rescue vehicle shows the overall design of the car, which is covered with a round tarp. The folds of the tarp show that the car has two large air intakes on the side below and also a high air intake. Furthermore, the rear bumper of the car is high. With this design, car enthusiasts conclude that it is a Ford GT.
It is also a coincidence that during the recent Lunar New Year, businessman Dang Le Nguyen Vu also bought himself a Ford GT supercar, the limited edition ’67 Heritage Edition, of which only 39 were produced worldwide. However, it cannot be determined whether the covered Porsche is this model or not because in the garage of Vietnam’s “coffee king” there is another Ford GT supercar, but it belongs to the standard edition.

But to know for sure if it is a standard Ford GT
Or a Ford GT ’67 Heritage Edition is impossible because the car is covered
According to the information we have, the Ford GT supercar is limited in production for all versions. Currently, there are only 2 cars of this model in Vietnam, and both of them have been acquired by Dang Le Nguyen Vu. The price of the Ford GT in Vietnam ranges from 60 billion to 80 billion Vietnamese dong, or about 2.5 million to 3.5 million US dollars.
Unlike the brand new Ford GT supercar that Dang Le Nguyen Vu bought, the ’67 Heritage Edition Ford GT is limited to 39 units worldwide. Vu purchased this car from a specialized supercar showroom in District 5. The car was originally owned by a car enthusiast in his 80s, but it was later sold and remained in the showroom waiting for a customer for a few months before Vietnam’s “coffee king” bought it for his collection.
The exterior of the unique ’67 Heritage Edition Ford GT in Vietnam is painted in Race Red color, with the Ford logo and the number 1 appearing on the body to distinguish it as a 2017 Ford GT, part of the Heritage Edition collection to commemorate the Ford GT40 Mark IV that won the Le Mans race over 5 decades ago.
The GT ’67 Heritage Edition is equipped with a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine, which is considered the most powerful engine produced by Ford. This “heart” generates a maximum output of 647 horsepower. The power of the car is transmitted to the rear axle through a 7-speed dual-clutch Powershift gearbox. The Ford GT ’67 Heritage Edition can reach a top speed of 347 km/h.
