The electric motorcycle market is experiencing a surge in popularity, and Japanese manufacturer Honda is making its mark in this industry. Recently, Honda unveiled its electric motorcycle model, Cub e, in the Chinese market, which is known for its high population density.
The design of the Honda Cub e draws inspiration from the iconic Honda Super Cub scooter. As an electric motorcycle, the Cub e showcases a modern and minimalist aesthetic, evident in its sleek rear lights, turn signals, and wheels.
In terms of performance, the Honda Cub e is powered by a Lithium battery, enabling a maximum travel distance of 65 km on a single full charge. Additionally, the motorcycle features an EBS energy recovery system that helps conserve battery life. The Cub e can achieve a top speed of 25 km/h.
Moreover, the Honda Cub e comes equipped with an intelligent signal notification system, facilitating ease and convenience in locating the motorcycle. Honda has plans to introduce this model in various markets, including Asia, Europe, and Japan, by 2025.
In the Chinese market, the Cub e is currently priced at $885 (equivalent to approximately 20.78 million VND). It is highly likely that Honda will also bring this electric motorcycle to the Vietnamese market in the near future.
