Honda Vietnam unveils the 2024 Winner X, with prices starting at 46 million VND

The 2024 Winner X is a strong evolution from the Winner motorcycle lineup that was initially introduced in Vietnam in 2016. It aims to establish itself as a true sport motorcycle with its sporty manual transmission design, powerful engine, outstanding features, and exceptional riding experience.

The new version features attractive updates in both design and engine. The highlight is the inclusion of a completely new two-way slipper clutch technology, promising customers a thrilling riding experience similar to that of true sport motorcycles.

The sporty and masculine characteristics of the Winner X are further enhanced with updated wheel designs that bring flexibility, agility, impressive new decals, and color combinations. These updates affirm the breakthrough nature of this motorcycle lineup.

The 2024 Winner X maintains a strong and dynamic design with seamless and sharp lines throughout the body. The front half of the motorcycle exudes power and features aerodynamic characteristics inspired by large displacement motorcycles. The digital instrument panel has a compact and modern sporty shape, offering excellent visibility for the rider in all lighting conditions and creating a thrilling feeling throughout the riding experience.

The new Winner X version has a lighter front wheel by 282 grams and a lighter rear wheel by 170 grams compared to the 2023 version. This provides a more flexible riding experience, allowing users to easily control and steer the motorcycle.

In addition, the Winner X offers a variety of eye-catching and diverse colors, creating a dynamic, sporty, and unique appearance. Riders feel proud to own and showcase their style during their adventures. The Sport version, inspired by the legendary large displacement CBR1000RR-R, features a standout Red color combined with impressive Black and White accents, along with an attractive yellow wheel rim. The Special Edition is also available in various colors including Black, Black Silver, and Red Black, combined with prominent gold decals that add personality to the front mask and body of the motorcycle, emphasizing its powerful character while riding. The Standard version offers 3 youthful and powerful colors including Black Silver, White Black, and Red Black with eye-catching decals, giving it a dynamic and attractive appearance that catches everyone’s attention.

In addition to its standout sporty appearance, the 2024 Winner X is equipped with an outstanding and powerful engine for the first time. It features a two-way slipper clutch that provides riders with excellent operation and a peak riding experience in all journeys.

The 2024 Winner X is the first motorcycle to be equipped with a two-way assist and slipper clutch system, a technology currently applied in racing motorcycles and most large displacement motorcycles. This technology facilitates gear shifting, prevents rear wheel lock caused by engine braking when downshifting at high engine speeds, and enhances the rider’s control ability. It also makes the clutch lever lighter, providing a comfortable and reassured riding experience.

The new Winner X retains a 150cc, 4-valve, 6-speed, DOHC engine with optimized valve opening angles (16° for intake valves and 14°30′ for exhaust valves). This new generation Winner X offers users a fresh and exhilarating riding experience with smooth acceleration throughout the engine’s range.

Additionally, the new version maintains technologies that enhance the enjoyable and comfortable riding experience. These include minimizing vibrations through the use of a coaxial counterbalance and copper bushings, and minimizing noise by using tilted gears and bearings for the gearshift. The PGM-FI electronic fuel injection system, along with friction-reducing technologies, contributes to the high power and optimal fuel efficiency of the Winner X. The Honda SMART Key smart lock system continues to be featured on all 3 versions. The modern Type-A USB charging port with a water-resistant lid is retained on the Special Edition and Sport versions, allowing customers to conveniently charge their phones when needed.
