On December 11, 2023, TC Group announced the sales results for November 2023. The total number of Hyundai cars sold in the market reached 7,980 units, a 6.9% increase compared to October.
In November 2023, the Hyundai brand’s best-selling model was Accent, with 1,686 cars delivered to customers, a 14.4% increase. Following that is Hyundai Creta with sales of 1,218 cars, a 1.3% decrease.
The third best-selling Hyundai model in November was Tucson with 1,177 units sold, a 5.7% decrease. However, Hyundai Tucson still made it into the top 10 best-selling car models in the overall market, similar to the previous month, ranking 8th. In the C-segment SUV category, this South Korean car model ranked second, following the Mazda CX-5 (1,727 units).
The achieved results can probably be attributed to Hyundai Tucson’s new pricing policy implemented since September this year. The selling price of Hyundai Tucson currently ranges from 769 to 899 million VND, making it one of the cheapest C-segment SUVs in the market.
The remaining Hyundai model with sales over 1,000 units in the past month was Santa Fe. This model achieved 1,064 units, a 15.8% growth compared to October.
Meanwhile, Hyundai Grand i10 also experienced positive growth with a rate of 12.1%, reaching a result of 752 units. Ranking 6th in the Hyundai family is the newcomer Custin with 529 units sold, a remarkable growth of 63.2%.
The next two positions belong to Hyundai Stargazer and Elantra. The respective sales figures of these two models are 355 units and 331 units. While Hyundai Stargazer experienced a decrease in sales, Elantra saw a 31.9% increase. It seems that the “fire sale” program at dealerships has not helped improve the sales of Hyundai Stargazer.
At the bottom position is the large-sized SUV Hyundai Palisade with sales reaching 94 units. This is not surprising as Hyundai Palisade is not a very inexpensive model. According to Hyundai Thành Công, one of the reasons why Palisade achieved sales below 100 units is due to a shortage of component supply.
