The new BMW X5 embodies the benefits of balance and maneuverability with notable upgrades, including the revolutionary iDrive digital system and curved display design, as well as the latest BMW 8.0 operating system. In addition, the BMW XM stands out as the first high-performance model introduced in Vietnam.
The most significant upgrade in the new BMW X5 is the integration of digital technology within the main cabin control unit. This integration allows for intuitive control through the use of the BMW 8.0 operating system and the iDrive control system. The Curved Display features a 12.3-inch infotainment display positioned behind the steering wheel, as well as a 14.9-inch center control screen. With these enhancements, the control panel of the new BMW X5 now offers touch and voice control functionality.
The new engine delivers a notable power increase of 46 horsepower compared to its predecessor, reaching an impressive 381 horsepower. The X5’s torque specification reaches up to 540 Nm thanks to the implementation of Mild Hybrid technology. As a result of these advancements, the new BMW X5 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds.
In the case of the BMW XM, it draws inspiration from BMW’s new modern design language. The front of the car features divided headlamps, highlighted by a yellow border kidney grille and the eye-catching Iconic Glow lighting system. The lighting cluster on the BMW XM is divided into two distinct segments – locator lights and turn signal lights, seamlessly integrated into ultra-thin bulbs. Separate from these elements, the main adaptive LED headlights are situated just below. The horizontal grille bars pay homage to BMW M GmbH sports cars, while the unconventional kidney-shaped grille adds a distinct touch.
The passenger compartment of the new BMW XM offers a spacious and luxurious ambiance, showcasing the exclusive M Lounge design, Alcantara headliner, and three-dimensional diamond trims on all door panels. Ambient Light, four-zone automatic air conditioning, and the Bowers & Wilkins Diamond surround sound system with a 1,475-watt amplifier are standard features in the BMW XM available in Vietnam.
The introduction of the new BMW X5 and BMW XM in Vietnam provides customers in the luxury SUV segment with an expanded array of choices. Currently, official pricing for both models has yet to be announced.
