Car enthusiasts in the capital city have just displayed their exceptional collection of Jaguar cars in a luxurious urban area in Hanoi. Remarkably, the collection includes 3 Jaguar S-Types in silver, white, and striking dark blue.

It appears that numerous car enthusiasts in the capital have been captivated by the “sexy” beauty of these 3 mid-size sedans from the UK, prompting them to collect and enjoy them together.

In addition to the 3 S-Types, there is also a rare Jaguar XJ in Vietnam.

The S-Type Jaguar was manufactured from 1999 to 2008 and was replaced by the XF sedan. The S-Type was produced at Jaguar’s Castle Bromwich factory in Birmingham, England, and was designed and developed by Geoff Lawson based on the Ford DEW structure. This structure was the result of a joint effort between Jaguar and Ford engineers, along with the first product, the Lincoln LS.

The Jaguar S-Type was manufactured from 1999 to 2002 and featured rear-wheel drive and a 5-speed manual or automatic transmission. From 2003, the Jaguar S-Type used a 5-speed manual or 6-speed J-Gate automatic transmission. Starting in 2004, the diesel version was equipped with a 6-speed manual or optional 6-speed J-Gate automatic transmission.

According to insider information, the Jaguar S-Types in Vietnam are equipped with two main engine options. A 3.0-liter V6 engine capable of producing a maximum power of 243 horsepower and a maximum torque of 293 Nm. Paired with a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission, the engine allows the Jaguar S-Type to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in approximately 6.9 seconds before reaching a top speed of 250 km/h.

Another option is the V8 engine with a 4.2-liter displacement, producing a maximum power of 280 horsepower and a maximum torque of 411 Nm. Paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, the Jaguar S-Type can accelerate from a standing position to 97 km/h in about 6.5 seconds before reaching a top speed of 250 km/h.
