Kia Sonet 2024 is scheduled to launch officially on December 14th. Leading up to the launch, several key details about the equipment and features of this A-segment SUV model have been revealed through product catalogue photos.

Leaked images showcase that the new Kia Sonet will come equipped with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). These systems include lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, driver attention warning, lane following assist, headlamp assist, early collision warning and avoidance assist, as well as forward collision warning.

Additionally, this A-segment SUV model will feature a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, and rear disc brakes.

The 2024 Kia Sonet will sport an electronic instrument cluster along with a 10.25-inch touchscreen display. The driver’s seat is 4-way power adjustable and includes an integrated seat cooling feature. The luggage capacity has been slightly reduced from 395 liters to 385 liters.

The exterior design of the new Kia Sonet also showcases several updates compared to the previous version. The headlamp cluster now boasts a new design with LED daytime running lights in an L-shape. The front grille has been refined to perfectly complement the headlamp cluster design. The front bumper is larger and enhanced with a chrome trim. At the rear, the taillights of the 2024 Sonet feature a design similar to the upgraded version of the recently launched Kia Morning.

The catalogue also reveals that this Korean car model will come with 15 or 16-inch wheels, depending on the variant, roof rails, a shark fin antenna, and a panoramic sunroof, among other features.

Regarding the operating equipment, it is expected that the new Kia Sonet will not see any significant upgrades. The car will retain three engine options, depending on the market. The first option is a 1.2L petrol engine with a maximum power of 83 horsepower and a maximum torque of 115 Nm. The second option is a turbocharged 1.0L petrol engine with 120 horsepower and 172 Nm of torque. Lastly, there is a 1.5L diesel engine with a maximum power of 116 horsepower and a maximum torque of 250 Nm.
