According to the plan, Lynk & Co will officially launch in the Vietnamese market in early 2024 with 3 models.
Automaker Lynk & Co is offering a special promotion for customers who pre-order the 01, 05, and 09 models. The program is valid from December 4th, 2023 to January 5th, 2024, and offers two deposit options.
The first deposit option is 10 million VND. With this deposit, customers will receive free maintenance for 5 years and a free vehicle registration package (excluding registration fees).
The second deposit option is a commitment deposit worth 50 million VND. With this deposit, customers will receive free maintenance for 5 years, a free vehicle registration package (excluding registration fees), and 2 years of vehicle physical damage insurance.
In addition, the first 18 customers to pre-order and receive the Lynk & Co 09 will receive a full factory tour package at Lynk & Co.
Therefore, Lynk & Co will introduce 3 high-rise SUV models to the Vietnamese market. Among them, the Lynk & Co 01 is a name that makes many competitors in the C-segment SUV/CUV segment cautious. This SUV model set a sales record of over 6,000 units sold in just 2 minutes and 17 seconds, making it the fastest-selling Chinese car in the world.
Lynk & Co 01 shares the Compact Modular Architecture (CMA) platform with the Volvo XC40, as well as the electrical system, engine, and safety features. Some notable features of this model include a large entertainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, integrated air filter automatic air conditioning, panoramic sunroof, and a full LED lighting system.
Internationally, the Lynk & Co 01 offers 3 engine options, including hybrid and plug-in hybrid options.
Next is the Lynk & Co 05, which shares many similarities with the 01, especially in terms of the front of the car and cabin space. However, the roof of the car is slightly sloped towards the rear, giving it a more sporty appearance.
The equipment of the 05 is similar to the 01, including a full LED lighting system, large central screen, integrated air filter automatic air conditioning, panoramic sunroof, and 12 sensors, among others.
The Lynk & Co 05’s engine in the international market is a 2.0L turbocharged mild-hybrid engine, producing 254 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Lastly, the Lynk & Co 09 is the largest SUV of the Chinese brand. The car is based on the chassis of the Volvo XC90, with dimensions of 5,042mm in length, 1,977mm in width, and 1,780mm in height.
The interior of the car features at least 6 interconnected screens, including a head-up display (HUD), a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and 12-inch and 6-inch entertainment screens, among others.
Noteworthy amenities on the Lynk & Co 09 include an odor elimination and fragrance diffusion system, a 14-speaker Bose surround sound system, active noise cancellation, 12-way power-adjustable seats, and an augmented reality navigation system.
The car is equipped with a 2.0L turbocharged engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission. In addition, there are mild-hybrid (MHEV) or plug-in hybrid (PHEV) engine variants with power outputs ranging from 247 to 427 horsepower.
The specifications and prices of Lynk & Co cars for the Vietnamese market are still unknown.
