Many countries have taken concrete actions to promote the development of electric vehicles and supporting infrastructure. One of these actions is investing in electric vehicle charging stations in buildings using budget allocations. In addition, regulations and laws have been issued to govern the construction of charging station infrastructure in condominiums, and incentives are being provided to building owners and residents interested in installing charging stations. As a result of these efforts, public places, office building underground parking lots, shopping centers, and residential areas are required to provide electric vehicle charging posts.
