Mazda recently launched the CX-3 model in another Southeast Asian country after its debut in the Thai market in August.

The Mazda CX-3 2024 will be available in three versions in the new country, including 1.5G 2WD Plus, 2.0G 2WD Plus, and 2.0G 2WD High. The price ranges from 115,720 to 139,159 RM (approximately 601 – 723 million VND).

Compared to the previous version, the Mazda CX-3 2024 retains its exterior design while focusing on enhancing additional utilities and safety features.

Imported from Thailand, the Mazda CX-3 2024 in the Malaysian market will come with upgrades such as LED headlights with automatic on/off feature, automatic high/low beam adjustment, daytime running lights, electric/foldable/integrated turn signal mirrors, combined LED taillights, Halogen rear fog lights, and automatic windshield wipers.

The highest-end version will feature 18-inch wheels and LED front fog lights, while the two lower versions will have 16-inch wheels without front fog lights.

In terms of the interior, all three versions will come with an 8-inch center touchscreen, a 6-speaker audio system, and 2 USB ports. The two lower versions of the Mazda CX-3 2024 will be equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and a reverse camera.

Meanwhile, the highest-end version will have a 360-degree camera, wireless phone charging, a Head-up Display (HUD), an electric sunroof, and auto-dimming mirrors.

In addition, the Mazda CX-3 will be equipped with the standard i-Activsense active safety package, which includes features such as 6 airbags, 4 rear sensors, headlight control, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, and emergency automatic braking. The 2.0G High version also includes additional features like driver distraction warning and 4 front parking sensors.

The Mazda CX-3 2024 in the Malaysian market will be available with two engine options. The first is a 1.5L naturally aspirated 4-cylinder petrol engine with a maximum power of 114 horsepower and a peak torque of 149 Nm.

The second option is a 2.0L naturally aspirated 4-cylinder petrol engine with a power output of 154 horsepower and 206 Nm.

Both engines are paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and come with standard steering wheel paddle shifters.

After Malaysia, it is highly likely that the Mazda CX-3 2024 will be available in Vietnam. Currently, the Mazda CX-3 is being sold in Vietnam with prices ranging from 524 to 644 million VND.
