The Mercedes-Maybach S580 has undergone a comprehensive upgrade with the Brabus 600 Masterpiece tuning package, enhancing its appearance, interior, and performance.
Renowned German tuning company, Brabus, has recently introduced the Brabus 600 Masterpiece, a new tuning package for the Mercedes-Maybach S580. This package includes various upgrades, targeting the vehicle’s exterior, interior, and engine performance.
Brabus has made subtle changes to the exterior of the S580 in the 600 Masterpiece tuning package, preserving its classic and luxurious design. The most notable modification is the installation of Brabus Monoblock M “Platinum Edition” 22-inch wheels in a sophisticated Shadow Grey finish. Additionally, the car features a carbon fiber body kit, which consists of front fender flares, a front bumper, and a rear diffuser. Other enhancements include a Brabus logo front grille, sports exhaust pipes, and a Shadow Chrome package. Finally, the Brabus Masterpiece logo is adorned on the trunk and D-pillars.
The interior of the Brabus 600 Masterpiece boasts an eye-catching emerald green color scheme. The seats, central control panel, steering wheel, carpet, and headrests are all upholstered in green leather, accentuated by intricate diamond-shaped stitching. The armrest surface and central control panel feature carbon fiber accents, while the Brabus logo is elegantly embossed on the back of the seats.
Naturally, all the luxurious amenities of the S-Class are retained in the Brabus 600 Masterpiece. The vehicle is equipped with business-class seats, offering ventilation and heating functions. The modern cockpit boasts two large digital screens, while the Burmester 4D surround sound system and interior ambient lighting provide an exceptional entertainment experience for the discerning owner.
The twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine of the Mercedes-Maybach S580 has received a performance upgrade from Brabus, generating an impressive output of 591 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. This represents a substantial increase of 95 horsepower compared to the standard version. Power is transmitted to all four wheels through an AWD drivetrain and a 9-speed automatic transmission.
Thanks to the enhanced power, the Brabus 600 Masterpiece achieves a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 4.5 seconds, which is 0.3 seconds faster than the S580 and on par with the Mercedes-Maybach S680 equipped with a V12 engine. The top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h. Furthermore, the Brabus 600 Masterpiece tuning package includes the Barbus SportXtra air suspension module, allowing for an additional 20cm reduction in ride height.
