Introduced since late September, the MG RX5 1.5T STD compact SUV (standard version) has officially arrived in Vietnam.
Accordingly, this version is currently priced at 739 million VND. For the premium LUX version, the car is being sold for 829 million VND.
The car has just been launched, and the manufacturer has offered a discount of 40 million VND for the standard version, so the price of the car is now only 699 million VND. For the premium version, the company also offers a cash discount of 30 million VND, bringing the price of this version down to 799 million VND.
MG RX5 is positioned in the C-segment SUV/CUV. The car has dimensions of 4,571 x 1,855 x 1,719 mm.
In general, the exterior of the standard version is still identical to the premium LUX version. There are only a few different details that are easy to distinguish, such as the standard version not having the blue line accents around the car, but instead has chrome lines.
It is accompanied by 18-inch multi-spoke wheels and full LED headlights. In contrast, the LUX version will use 19-inch wheels.
The rear of the car still has a roof spoiler in the shape of cat ears to increase stability when driving at high speeds, as well as giving the CUV a sportier look.
As for the interior, compared to other markets, MG RX5 STD in Vietnam also has many different features. These can include things like the standard version having fabric seats and manual front seats. The premium version has leather seats and power-adjustable front seats.
When it comes to Vietnam, the car only has an analog display combined with a monochrome multi-information screen in the center instead of a Full LCD 12.3-inch instrument cluster.
MG still equips RX5 with a centrally-mounted 14.1-inch infotainment screen, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, automatic transmission, automatic cruise control, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, push-button start, and electronic parking brake. The wireless charging feature has been discontinued…
It is not clear what safety features the MG RX5 STD will be equipped with when it comes to Vietnam, but it is highly likely that the car will have front and rear sensors, ABS, BA, EBD, electronic stability control, hill start assist, hill descent control, and a 360-degree camera.
As for the drivetrain, the MG RX5 uses a 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine with a capacity of 1.5 liters, producing a maximum power of 168 horsepower and a maximum torque of 275 Nm. The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, with a shift time of only 0.2 seconds.

Review of the “mobile room” for successful people
With a price tag of under 2 billion Vietnamese dong, it is very difficult to find a competitor who can “match” the Ford Transit from the MT Luxury brand, from its space, amenities, entertainment technology, to its ability to “blend in with the crowd” without attracting attention – a factor that many successful people highly appreciate.
