The Kia EV6, the first all-electric model from South Korean automaker Kia, was initially introduced in 2021. However, the car is already receiving an upgrade. An upgraded version is currently being developed and is expected to be launched next year. The objective of this update is to align the EV6 with Kia’s newer EV models in terms of design and technology.

Test models of the Kia EV6 Facelift, disguised with prototypes, have been spotted in South Korea. It is highly likely that these cars will soon be tested on the roads of Europe and North America. David Hilber, the Marketing Director of Kia Europe, has revealed that the Kia EV6 Facelift will incorporate the design language of the EV9 and will also draw design inspiration from the Kia EV3, EV4, and EV5.

As this is a mid-life refresh, the overall shape of the Kia EV6 Facelift is expected to remain mostly unchanged compared to the current model. However, there will be new alloy wheel designs and exterior refinements.

Notable changes will be focused on the front of the car, including a redesigned front bumper and more intricate headlight clusters. The rear of the car may see minor changes in the graphics of the taillights, but its futuristic look is likely to be retained.

Inside the EV6 Facelift, we can expect the triple-screen setup from the EV9, which can also be found in the compact SUV EV5. There will also be a redesigned steering wheel and new options for seat upholstery. The car will also come with enhanced features in autonomous driving and connectivity.
