The Honda Racing Vietnam team entered the first official race day of stage 5 of the 2023 Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) in China with enthusiasm and confidence. On November 4, the riders competed in the AP250 and UB150 categories.
In the AP250 category, rider Cao Viet Nam (number 65) had a determined performance with exciting moments competing against the top riders. Unfortunately, he crashed in lap 5 and couldn’t complete Race 1.
Rider Cao Viet Nam showed potential as he competed for 4th and 3rd positions during the first 5 laps of Race 1. He finished in 20th place, hoping to have an outstanding performance in Race 2.
In contrast, rider Nguyen Duc Thanh (number 193) in the AP250 category started in an unfavorable 22nd position. However, he showed great determination and even came close to breaking into the Top 10.
After completing 10 laps, Nguyen Duc Thanh finished in an impressive 12th place, earning 4 additional points for the team.
In the UB150 category, Honda Racing Vietnam riders Nguyen Anh Tuan (number 178) and Nguyen Huu Tri (number 111) finished in 20th and 21st places respectively, starting from positions 23 and 25.
Let’s continue to support and cheer for the Vietnamese riders in Race 2 at the Zhuhai racetrack tomorrow, Sunday (November 5th). Hopefully, they will have remarkable performances and achieve good finishes!
