Let’s take a closer look at each model:

1. Mazda CX-5: 1,727 vehicles
In November 2023, the Mazda CX-5 faced a decline in sales, with a total of 1,727 vehicles sold, representing a decrease of 21.3% compared to the previous month. Despite this, the Mazda CX-5 retains its position as the top-performing model in the C segment SUV market, maintaining its dominance.

Mazda CX-5

Since its upgraded version was launched in July this year at a competitive price range of 749 – 999 million VND, the Mazda CX-5 has consistently outperformed its competitors in the segment. Its success can be attributed to factors such as its attractive price, sleek exterior design, and comprehensive comfort and safety features.

2. Hyundai Tucson: 1,177 vehicles
Similarly, the Hyundai Tucson has become one of the preferred choices in the C segment SUV market. After a price adjustment in September, ranging from 769 to 899 million VND, the Hyundai Tucson achieved sales of 1,177 vehicles in November 2023, representing a decrease of 5.7% compared to the previous month. The Hyundai Tucson maintains its position as the second-ranked model in the segment and is among the top 10 best-selling car models in the overall market.

Hyundai Tucson

The Hyundai Tucson offers a competitive price in the segment and boasts superior wheelbase length, outstanding exterior design, spacious interior, and comprehensive equipment. It is available with three engine options.

3. Ford Territory: 1,066 vehicles
The Ford Territory experienced remarkable sales growth in November 2023, making it one of the fastest-growing models in the C segment SUV market. With 1,066 vehicles sold, the Ford Territory achieved a staggering increase of 107.3% compared to the previous month. It maintains its position as the third-ranked model in the segment. This growth can be attributed, in part, to the 100% vehicle registration fee waiver program for American vehicles in November 2023, with prices ranging from 82 to 95 million VND, depending on the variant.

Ford Territory

The Ford Territory impresses Vietnamese customers with its reputable brand, spacious interior, and comprehensive comfort and safety features. 4. Honda CR-V: 539 vehicles
Despite being the most expensive model in the C segment SUV market, with prices ranging from 1.109 to 1.31 billion VND, the Honda CR-V experienced positive sales growth in November 2023. With a total of 539 vehicles sold, it saw an increase of 12.9% compared to the previous month.

Honda CR-V

The new generation Honda CR-V showcases comprehensive upgrades in terms of design, features, and engines. It is equipped with remarkable features such as full LED lighting, 18-inch alloy wheels, 8-way power-adjustable driver seat with memory function, digital instrument cluster, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and a 12-speaker Bose audio system.

5. Mitsubishi Outlander: 339 vehicles
Similar to the Honda CR-V, the Mitsubishi Outlander experienced an increase in sales in November 2023. It sold 339 vehicles, representing a growth of 33.4% compared to the previous month. However, its sales ranking in the C segment SUV market remained unchanged.

Mitsubishi Outlander

The Mitsubishi Outlander has not undergone significant upgrades in terms of design or features in the C segment SUV market for a while. Nevertheless, it offers sufficient equipment for daily use.

6. Kia Sportage: 200 vehicles
In contrast to its sibling, the Hyundai Tucson, the Kia Sportage witnessed an increase in sales in November 2023. With a total of 200 vehicles sold, it achieved a growth of 17.6%. However, this Korean model remains at the bottom of the C segment SUV market.

Kia Sportage

Despite price adjustments, the Kia Sportage’s pricing has not been sufficiently competitive, ranging from 799 million to 1.019 billion VND. Nonetheless, it provides multiple options for Vietnamese customers, including different variants and engines to suit their preferences.

In summary, the compact SUV segment in November 2023 witnessed growth in overall sales. The Ford Territory emerged as the leader, while the Mazda CX-5 experienced a decline. The Hyundai Tucson, Honda CR-V, Mitsubishi Outlander, and Kia Sportage also played significant roles in the market.
