According to reliable sources, the all-new Toyota Fortuner is set to make its global debut in early 2024. Taking inspiration from the recently launched Tacoma pickup truck, this 7-seater SUV promises an impressive design.

Sketch of the 2024 Toyota Fortuner design
The front of the 2024 Toyota Fortuner has received a complete makeover. The eye-catching hexagonal grille with black horizontal bars, enhanced headlamps, stacked chrome bars, subtly redesigned front bumper, and new wheels contribute to its striking presence. It’s highly likely that the rear LED taillights will also undergo some refinements.
Sharing the TNGA-F platform with the Tundra, Land Cruiser, and Lexus LX, the new Fortuner is expected to offer increased dimensions, resulting in a more spacious cabin.

One of the major upgrades anticipated for the new Fortuner is the inclusion of a mild-hybrid system for the current 2.8L GD 4-cylinder diesel engine. This system will likely be paired exclusively with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Toyota estimates that the mild-hybrid technology will deliver approximately 10% fuel savings compared to the non-hybrid variant.
Improvements in off-road capabilities and related technologies are also expected, while the cabin will be upgraded with premium materials and advanced technologies, elevating its overall appeal.
