Compared to the current Audi R8 V8s on the roads in Vietnam, the featured car in this article stands out thanks to its manual transmission.
This is a rare sighting of this mysterious car on the streets. The car has been customized by GTA Wrapping with a new wrap design to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Currently, this featured car is the only R8 V8 model in Vietnam equipped with a manual transmission. However, it is not only the second R8 in the entire country, but also the first one with a manual transmission in the shape of an S, and it has a gunmetal color, belonging to the V10 edition.
On this occasion, the Audi R8 V8 has a completely new and unique appearance, no longer wearing a plain outfit. Instead, it sports a sporty look with racing stripes and red and black accents all over the car.
The hood and the body of the car have the number 83 and the letters “wauto” added to them. Apart from the change in the exterior color, the black 5-spoke wheels of the Audi R8 V8 have also been enhanced with red rim stripes. It also comes with high-performance black brake calipers.
Although it has been around for a while, the overall design and appearance of the Audi R8 V8 still look very modern and remain trendy compared to newer supercars. The Audi R8 V8 is sporty and powerful with 3-slotted front/rear air vents.
At the rear, the car is equipped with dual exhaust pipes on each side, rectangular taillights placed on two air outlets, and a rear wing that can be manually or automatically opened/closed based on the car’s speed.
In terms of performance, the Audi R8 V8 uses a 4.2L V8 engine with direct fuel injection FSI, delivering 420 horsepower and a maximum torque of 430 Nm. The supercar can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 3.9 seconds before reaching a top speed of 316 km/h.
