The car auction market this year has been somewhat subdued, but it hasn’t dampened the festive atmosphere of Pebble Beach 2016, which took place in Carmel, California, USA, last weekend. Alongside modern cars such as the Bugatti Chiron, Mercedes-Maybach 6, and Koenigsegg Agera XS, this year’s Pebble Beach festival also showcased an impressive collection of vintage cars.
Let’s take a look at the most captivating images from this year’s Pebble Beach car festival:

Volunteers carefully positioned a vintage car onto the grass at the festival. This criterion is quite demanding considering that some cars participating in the festival were produced almost 100 years ago. Men attending the festival usually wear khaki pants and hats, while women opt for cocktail dresses, hats, and high heels.
