This morning, on December 6th, 2023, the Vietnam Joint Stock Auction Company resumed its online auction session after a one-week pause. Of particular note is the third auction of a highly sought-after license plate, marking a rare occurrence in the organization’s history of auctioning car license plates.
The license plate in question is 30K-567.89, the prestigious Dragon Hall license plate of Hanoi. In the previous two auctions, this license plate had fetched the highest bids of 13.075 billion VND and 16.57 billion VND respectively. However, in the third auction, the 30K-567.89 license plate was sold for a lower price of only 12.57 billion VND.
After going unclaimed in the previous two auctions, the beautiful Dragon Hall license plate 30K-567.89 went up for auction for the third time on the morning of December 6th, 2023. This time, the premium license plate from Hanoi’s prestigious hall was sold for 4 billion VND less than the second auction.
The Dragon Hall license plate 30K-567.89 holds great significance as it is considered one of the most beautiful, prestigious, and valuable license plates in the 30K license plate category. In fact, it ranks just below the eight-digit and nine-digit license plates in the eyes of license plate enthusiasts.
According to regulations, the winning bidder of the car license plate auction must make full payment within 15 days from the date of the result announcement. The auction amount will be deducted from the deposit (40 million VND), but does not include the vehicle registration fee.
Within 12 months, the winning bidder must register the purchased license plate for their car. Failure to do so will result in the transfer of the license plate to the license plate registration and management system, with no refund for the auction amount paid.
