In the European market, the new Hyundai i20 is available with three different petrol engines and two diesel engines, all of which meet Euro6 emission standards. The 1.25-liter and 1.4-liter 4-cylinder petrol engines offer maximum outputs of 74 and 83 horsepower, respectively. The 1.4-liter engine is available with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission.
The two diesel engines have a capacity of 1.1 and 1.4 liters, respectively, and are paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The maximum power outputs of the two diesel engines are 74 and 89 horsepower.
The new generation Hyundai i20 for the European market will be assembled in Izmit, Turkey, and will be available for purchase starting from November this year.
