Lexus has unveiled teaser images of the next-generation GX. The Japanese automaker has confirmed that the 2024 GX will make its debut on June 8th.
The current iteration of the Lexus GX was first introduced in 2009 and has since undergone two major upgrades, as well as several minor facelift versions. Introducing the third generation GX at this time seems like a reasonable move to replace the aging current model that has been on the market for over 10 years.
The teaser images of the new GX showcase its boxy design, with certain details reminiscent of the Range Rover. The primary headlights boast a sleeker and more refined appearance compared to the previous generation, featuring horizontal positioning lights for the LED daytime running lights (DRLs). Notably, the hood is noticeably raised on both sides.
At the rear, the car features slim, continuous LED taillights that span the width of the vehicle. From the rear view, a portion of the car’s side is visible, showcasing its square-shaped mudguards.
While official technical specifications have yet to be released, it is highly likely that the new Lexus GX will utilize the shortened TNGA-F platform. This platform is currently employed in the Toyota Land Cruiser 300, Sequoia, and Lexus LX 600.
In the Vietnamese market, the Lexus GX is currently offered through authorized dealerships solely with the GX 460 model, which is priced at 5.97 billion VND.
