Together with the Mercedes-AMG SL 43, the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 S E PERFORMANCE sports convertible has made a grand return to the Vietnamese market.
Considered as the most luxurious version of the iconic SL series, the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 is listed at a price of VND 12.29 billion. Starting from November, customers can place deposits for this car.
For its comeback, the car will be equipped with a fuel-efficient PHEV engine. Detailed information regarding the equipment for this special edition in Vietnam has not been announced officially. However, some notable technologies are expected to include the new-generation AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G 9-speed automatic transmission, high-performance AMG ceramic composite brake system with yellow brake calipers and “AMG Carbon Ceramic” characteristic black lettering, along with the handmade V8 biturbo 4.0L engine producing 816 horsepower and 1420 Nm of torque. Accompanying this engine is the intelligent variable all-wheel drive system 4MATIC+.
SL 63 retains its sports convertible design with a 2+2 Roadster seating arrangement. The SL 63 S E PERFORMANCE model stands out with the premium carbon exterior package, accompanied by the sporty AMG 21-inch alloy wheels with matte black multi-spoke design.
Mercedes-AMG SL 63 S E PERFORMANCE captures the distinctive sportiness of the original SL series and vividly portrays the unique luxury, while possessing the state-of-the-art technology of modern Mercedes-AMG models.
Looking back on its decades-long development history, starting from the first-generation 300 SL introduced in 1952, this legendary series has been regarded as the ultimate symbol of luxury, power, and speed, igniting desire and admiration among car enthusiasts, and becoming an irreplaceable image in the history of the most prestigious high-performance car models.
