SVI Engineering Introduces the 2022 Toyota Land Cruiser Armored B6
SVI Engineering has recently unveiled the upgraded 2022 Toyota Land Cruiser armored B6. The Toyota Land Cruiser is a popular choice among politicians, celebrities, and businessmen worldwide. Recognizing this demand, SVI Engineering, a well-known armor vehicle manufacturer, has introduced the Land Cruiser 2022 upgrade project. While the armored Land Cruiser may not look significantly different from the regular version, SVI Engineering has added nearly 750kg of state-of-the-art equipment to transform the vehicle into a mobile fortress.
According to the manufacturer, the vehicle is armored to B6 level, providing protection against attacks from greater caliber rifles such as the AK-47 (B5 level is sufficient to resist AK-47, B7 level provides protection against armor-piercing ammunition). The tires are also reinforced with heavy-duty load-bearing rings.
Similar to many other armored vehicles, SVI Engineering’s modification features a rear protective bulkhead behind the second-row seats. However, it is designed to take up less space, allowing more room for passengers to recline. Additionally, the vehicle has an emergency exit and 4cm-thick bullet-resistant glass. Despite this, the rearview cameras and sensors located behind the windshield are unaffected by the thicker glass.
To support the added weight of nearly 750kg, SVI Engineering has reinforced the suspension system to ensure smooth and powerful performance comparable to the standard version.
According to SVI Engineering, the additional features alone for the armored version of the Land Cruiser 300 cost approximately $61,300 (1.5 billion VND), excluding the base vehicle and associated taxes.
