Toyota has held this position for over a decade. Simultaneously, this Japanese automaker ranks as the 6th most valuable brand globally, trailing behind technology giants such as Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and Samsung.

In the latest rankings, Toyota’s position remains unchanged compared to the previous year. Conversely, Mercedes-Benz has surpassed Coca Cola to secure the 7th position. BMW has also ascended 3 places, from 13th in 2022 to 10th this year, just ahead of Tesla.

Other automotive brands included in Interbrand’s TOP 100 ranking are Honda (27), Hyundai (32), Audi (45), Porsche (47), VW (50), Ford (51), Nissan (63), Ferrari (70), and Kia (88). The positive outlook for Ferrari and Porsche has resulted in significant growth for these two sports car manufacturers, moving up 5 and 6 places on the list respectively.

Interbrand, a renowned global consulting firm specialized in brand management based in the United Kingdom, has released the list of the World’s Most Valuable Brands every year since 1999. This year marks the 24th consecutive year of its publication. The evaluation method employed by Interbrand involves criteria such as the financial performance of products/services, the brand’s impact on the consumer’s purchasing decision, and the brand’s resilience in securing future revenue for the company.
