Despite being introduced to the Vietnamese market just 2 months ago, the Toyota Yaris Cross SUV model has received several incentives from dealers to stimulate sales.
Currently, the car is available in our country in two versions: petrol and hybrid, with starting prices of 730 million VND and 838 million VND respectively.
Customers who buy the Toyota Yaris Cross petrol version this November will be offered discounts ranging from 80 – 90 million VND (depending on the dealer). Additionally, the HEV version is eligible for a discount of up to 100 million VND. Some dealers with lower discounts will also provide accessories and body insurance.
The reason for these high incentives is that the Toyota Yaris Cross is a “newcomer” and needs promotions to attract customers’ attention. Furthermore, the car does not qualify for the 50% registration tax support as it is imported, so these discounts make it more accessible to users.
According to sales consultants, this is the lowest price since the Toyota Yaris Cross was introduced to the Vietnamese market. This price will help the Toyota Yaris Cross compete more easily with rivals in the segment such as the Kia Seltos (599-724 million VND), Hyundai Creta (640-740 million VND)…
Despite having the highest price in its segment, the Toyota Yaris Cross also offers many advantages in terms of technology and equipment.
Inside the cabin, the 2023 Toyota Yaris Cross features luxurious amenities such as a 10.1-inch floating infotainment screen that connects to smartphones and supports voice control, wireless charging, electronic parking brake and auto hold, user-friendly automatic air conditioning.
The car is equipped with 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seats, paddle shifters on the steering wheel (petrol version), panoramic sunroof with electrically controlled sunshade, interior ambient lighting with color options and adjustable brightness according to the owner’s preferences, contributing to an exciting experience for customers.
In addition, the Yaris Cross also features convenient functions such as smart keyless entry with touch sensitivity on the front door handles, automatic folding mirrors, and electrically operated trunk lid integrated with a trunk sensor.
The 2023 Toyota Yaris Cross is powered by two engine options. The first is the Dynamic Force petrol engine with the code name 2NR-VE, featuring a 4-cylinder, 1.5L engine that generates a power output of 105 horsepower and a peak torque of 138 Nm, combined with a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
The second option is the hybrid Yaris Cross with an 89 horsepower petrol engine and a peak torque of 121 Nm. The engine is combined with a powerful 79 horsepower and 141 Nm electric motor, a lithium-ion battery, and an e-CVT gearbox.

Honda Accord: 40 Years of Automotive Excellence
Looking at the Vietnamese car market right now and humorously comparing it, we will see Camry as a well-behaved young girl, not outstanding in every aspect but easily becoming the choice of the “other half”. Teana, on the other hand, is like a dignified and tranquil woman, full of courage. Meanwhile, Mazda6 is like a hot girl, quickly attracting and captivating anyone’s gaze from the first encounter. As for Accord – with the elegance and experiences of a U30 lady, even though she is always praised by everyone, she hides something “difficult to deal with” in the minds of the majority.
