Ross Wainwright, a resident of Norwich, England, recently acquired a 1984 Buick Le Saber hearse for £5,000 on eBay. Ross, who has a deep passion for cars, had a vision to transform the hearse into an exact replica of the iconic vehicle from the 1984 movie Ghostbusters. This ambitious project required a total of 200 working hours, during which Ross and his wife dedicated themselves to renovating and redesigning the exterior of the car according to their vision.

The 1984 Buick Le Saber hearse was initially purchased by Ross Wainwright for £5,000. However, through countless hours of hard work and dedication, Ross and his wife were able to transform the hearse into their planned masterpiece.

The end result of their efforts far exceeded Ross Wainwright’s wildest imagination. The renovated hearse is now utilized for various charity events, weddings, and birthdays.

“I told my wife, ‘this car can be converted into a Ghostbusters car.’ She had some reservations due to the amount of effort it would require. However, my love for cars and being a huge Ghostbusters fan drove me to make it happen,” shared Ross Wainwright.

The total cost for the renovation amounted to £15,000, which is three times the initial purchase price of the hearse. Despite the significant investment, the couple now takes pleasure in using their unique car as a limousine for charitable causes and special occasions such as weddings and birthdays. The distinctive vehicle attracts attention everywhere it goes.
